William Kerr

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of William Kerr, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. While our hearts are broken by his loss, we are grateful for the memories, laughter, stories, and moments that we were blessed to share with him.

William was a man who found happiness in the simple things in life. He loved fishing, roofing, woodworking, collecting glass bottles, and salt and pepper shakers. He had a special place in his heart for his beloved dog, Little Boy, who was more than just a pet - he was his faithful companion, his buddy, and his little boy.

Family was an important part of William's life. He is survived by his wife, Delcie, and his children, Brian (Heidi) Kerr of Mauston, WI, and Jessica (Roy) Jones of Clay Center. He is also survived by his sisters, Tina Webber of Clay Center and Kathy (Rick) Schumock of Wichita, KS.

He was a proud grandfather to HaillieAnn, Tara, Alexander, Ariel, and Avielle, and a great-grandfather to Liam, Annalynn, and Jackson. He is also survived by his six nieces and nephews, Cassie, Mary, Kelci, Ethan, Shelly, and Tim, as well as 23 great-nieces and great-nephews.

William was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Tiffany; his mother, Mary Kerr; his brothers, Larry and Gene; his sisters, Linda and Terri; and his niece, Renee.

Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we will forever treasure the memories he left behind. We will remember him through the stories we tell, the things he taught us, the hobbies he enjoyed, and the love he gave to his family.

We hope that wherever he is, Little Boy is waiting for him, ready to be by his side once again.

Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate William's life, share memories, tell stories, and honor the wonderful man he was at 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Utility Park (Zoo) in Clay Center.

You were loved beyond words, you will be missed beyond measure, and you will forever remain in our hearts.
