Tim Springer

Tim Ellis Springer, age 68 of Manhattan, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 at his residence.

He was born on June 8, 1954 in Manhattan, the son of Gyle “Bud” Derol and Doris Imogene (Fyfe) Springer.

He married Cynthia Rae Pickett on February 11, 1978 at All Faiths Chapel in Manhattan.  She survives of the home.

Tim worked in construction alongside his dad and brother, building many homes in the Manhattan area.  He enjoyed outdoor activities like fishing, hunting and gardening.  He was ornery and enjoyed telling stories, always putting a smile on someone’s face.  Tim loved spending time with his family and was a loving husband, dad and papa.

In addition to his wife Cindy, he is survived by two daughters, Corey Springer of Manhattan and Amanda Springer of Manhattan; one brother, Robert Springer and Kelly of Manhattan; one sister, Jan McManis of Manhattan; three grandchildren, Apollo, Isabella and Kingston and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael Douglas Springer.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2022 at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow the visitation with a private family inurnment in the Carnahan Creek Cemetery at a later date.

A memorial has been established for the Tim Springer Memorial Fund.  Contributions may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
