Teddy “Ted” Charles Ganote, 69 of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 16, 2014 at the Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan, Kansas. He was born in Talihina, Oklahoma on May 20, 1944. He graduated from Talihina Senior High School in 1963. He received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Northeastern State University in Accounting and Business. He was the proud owner and operator of Ted’s TV’s and Appliances located in Tulsa, Oklahoma for over 25 years. He preached and shared his love of Jesus Christ abundantly with his employees, customers and passerby’s. He always gave of himself and extended his possessions to help those in need, but not without opening their eyes to seeking Salvation. He was a man of many good deeds. After beginning their relationship in 2007, Ted asked Darlene Ross to be his wife and they were united in marriage on June 28, 2010 in Locust Grove, Oklahoma. She survives of the home. His adopted daughter Elizabeth Rachel Ross Ganote also survives of the home. In addition to his wife and daughter he is survived by five children, Wesley Dean Ross and wife Lauren of McAlister, Oklahoma, Tawanna Gayle Ross of Riley, Kansas, Ewing Matthew Ross of the home, Darlene LaTonya Peters and husband Robie of Riley, Kansas and Keanosha Nancy Tabatha Dalke and husband David of Junction City, Kansas and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother Annie Marie Ganote and his step-dad, Kent Ganote. Cremation has taken place and memorial services were held on May 30, 2014 at the Cedar Tree Baptist Church in Tahlequah, Oklahoma with Pastor Charlie Shell and Sister Doris Shell officiating.
