Patsy A Pendergast

Patsy A. Pendergast, age 77, of Blue Rapids, passed away on September 30, 2022, at the Frankfort Care Home in Frankfort, Kansas.

Patsy was born August 17, 1945, at Frankfort, the daughter of Harold E. and Mary L. (Booth) Thomas.  She married Jere J. Pendergast in Frankfort on March 8, 1964.  He passed away in 2006.

Patsy was a homemaker.  She enjoyed crochet, needle point, cross stitch, arts and crafts, reading and listening to music.  She also loved to spend time with her grandchildren and visiting with her sisters on the phone.

Survivors include her two children: Howard (Teri) Pendergast of Marysville and Tammy Bray of Palmer, two sisters: Connie (Alan) Johnson of Spencer, Iowa, and Beverly Childers of Council Bluffs, Iowa, five grandchildren: Jacqueline (Mitchell), Derek, Dylan, Joshua and Nathaniel, and five great grandchildren.

Preceding Patsy in death are her parents, husband Jere, an infant sister Sandra Thomas, and a brother in law, Terry Childers.

Viewing is from noon to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, with visitation between 6:30 and 8:00 pm, at Christie-Anderes Funeral Home in Waterville.

Graveside services are planned for 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Prospect Hill Cemetery, north of Blue Rapids with Dennis Holst officiating.  A prerecorded selection of “I Can Only Imagine” will be played.  Burial will be at Prospect Hill Cemetery, north of Blue Rapids.
