Mary Frances Heeth

Mary Frances Heeth, age 77 of Manhattan, Kansas died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at the Via Christi Village in Manhattan, Kansas. She was born on April 24, 1936 in Johnson County, Kentucky, the daughter of Quince and Lessie (LeMaster) Trimble. Mary was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing solitaire, rummy, yahtzee and bingo, cooking and baking and watching western and classic movies. Her biggest joy of all was caring for animals. She always had them around and would take in strays and care for them. She was married to Robert P. Bartholic and from this union, they were blessed with a son. They later divorced. She then married Varnedoe M. Heeth in 1970 and he preceded her in death in 1975. She is survived by her son Bob Bartholic and wife Tina of Ogden, Kansas, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Clarence, Dave, Walter, Bruce and Whitey Trimble and one sister, Reva Parker. Graveside inurnment services were held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at the Riley Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Larson officiating. A memorial has been established for the Riley County Humane Society. Memorial contributions may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley, Kansas.
