Lorie Woodworth Massey

Lorie Ann (Woodworth) Massey, age 45 of Manhattan, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2022 at her residence.

She was born on August 17, 1976 in Manhattan, the daughter of Danny Ray and Lorine Kay (Allen) Woodworth.  She graduated from Blue Valley Randolph High School in 1994.

On July 12, 2016 she married Allen Massey, Jr.  He survives of the home.

Following high school, Lorie graduated from Crum’s Beauty School and was a beautician and cosmetologist, working at various Salon’s during her career.  She loved spending time with her family and friends, cooking and watching old movies.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her father, Danny Woodworth of Manhattan; her daughter Eva Woodworth of Manhattan; her brother, Brian Woodworth and wife Heather of Riley and her nieces, Jaiden and Miah Woodworth and Kyla Woodworth Lockyer.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorine Woodworth and an infant sister, Laura Michelle Woodworth.

A registry book will be available to sign at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 and Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

A memorial has been established for the Lorie Woodworth Massey Memorial Fund to be designated at a later date.  Contributions may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
