Linda Young

Linda Sue (McColery) Young, 76, of Clay Center, Kansas, passed away peacefully at her home on April 15, 2026, surrounded by family.

Linda was born on August 30, 1949, in Beatrice, Nebraska, to Ernest "Mac" and Margene (Reed) McColery.

Linda was united in marriage to Mark Young on October 9, 2010.

She is survived by her husband; her children, John Fenin, Alicia (Imad) Boudkhili, Bruce (Cathy) Fenin, and Jaala (DJ) Johnson, as well as step-daughter Ricci Young; her grandchildren, Tony (Mary) Ames, Andrew Ames, Arick Ames, Devon (Rachel) Johnson and Connor Johnson; and her siblings, Gail Pizer and Brad McColery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest "Mac" and Margene (Reed) McColery; her grandson, Joshua Ames, and her siblings, Ron McColery, Michael and Annie McColery.

Memorials may be made to Meadowlark Hospice and left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
