Donna Kraushaar

Donna Rose (Sinn) Kraushaar, age 87 of Frankfort, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House.

She was born on June 22, 1932 in Riley, the daughter of Charlie and Edna (Rueck) Sinn.

On March 4, 1954 she married Nilwon Dale Kraushaar in the Riley Presbyterian Church. They retired in Frankfort and were married over 60 years. He preceded her in death in 2014.

Donna was a housewife most of her working career. She was a very good cook, an excellent seamstress and a Cub Scout master for many years.

She loved the outdoors and vacationing with her husband and children. She enjoyed watching the Kansas State Wildcats football and basketball teams, the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals. Reading was a passion of hers and she liked going to movies with her friends.

She is survived by three sons, twins, Kenneth Kraushaar and wife Deb of Baldwin and Keith Kraushaar and wife Rita of Riley and Steven Kraushaar and wife Debbie of Marysville; one daughter, Kathleen Stafford and husband Bill of Fairway; seven grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; one niece, Linda Benninga and husband Maurice of Newton and one nephew, Doug Flynn of Manhattan.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one great grandson, Phoenix Wise and one sister, Kitty Flynn and husband Allen.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home with Rev. Gerry Sharp officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in the Riley Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for P.E.O. Contributions may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley, Kansas.
