Cindy Ostmeyer, 66, of Milford, Kansas, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born on September 21, 1959, in Oberlin, Kansas, Cindy brought joy, kindness, and love to all who knew her throughout her remarkable life.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Charlie, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage; her four children, Lindsay and her husband Adam, Adam and his wife Anne Marie, Emily and her husband Brady, and Troy and his wife Kori. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Maggie (Garrett), Haley, Eli, Grace, Hazel, Rowdy, Margo, Madelyn, Kamryn, and great-granddaughter Lainey, along with many beloved extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply. Their lives were enriched by her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love. Cindy's devotion to her family was evident in every aspect of her life. She was not only a pillar of strength but also a source of endless love, encouragement, and wisdom, leaving a lasting legacy in the hearts of all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Peggy Carman, and her brother, Phyll Carman. Their memories remained close to Cindy's heart as she carried forward their legacy with grace and resilience.

Cindy will be remembered as an adventurous spirit who embraced life with enthusiasm. She loved traveling and exploring new places, creating countless memories along the way. Her vibrant personality made her a joy to be around, and she brought laughter wherever she went. As a sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Cindy's loyalty, generosity, and compassion left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Her beauty radiated from within as much as it did outwardly. She had a loving presence that made others feel welcome, valued, and loved. Cindy's legacy is one of love, adventure, and unwavering devotion to her family-a testament to the extraordinary woman she was.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 4, 2026, at the Milford Lake Conference Center, 3710 Farnum Creek Road, Milford, Kansas.

The Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley is assisting the family with arrangements.
