Mary Ellen Bartley

Mary Ellen Bartley, age 74, of Wichita, formerly of Barnes, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at Homestead of Crestview, in Crestview, Kansas.  

Mary Ellen was born January 25, 1946 at Washington and raised in Barnes, living with her parents Myrl Owen and Sophie Henrietta (Wiechman) Bartley and younger brother Alan Lee Bartley. 

Mary is a graduate of Barnes High School. 

Mary moved to Wichita, in the late 1960’s where she lived with relatives for many years and then recently in an assisted living facility until her death.

 Mary was the happiest person on earth and was well known for her infectious laugh and giving the best HUGS!  

 Survivors include her many cousins and friends. 

Preceding Mary in death were her parents and her brother Alan.

Graveside services are planned for 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at Maplewood Cemetery, west of Barnes with Pastor Dan Norwood officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
