Louise A. Boeschling, age 96, of Hanover, passed away at her son’s home in Salina, on Thursday, June 4, 2020

Louise A. Allerheiligen Boeschling was born August 8th, 1923 to Frank Allerheiligen and Sophia (Koch) Allerheiligen both of Hanover, Kansas. She was baptized September 2, 1923. She was confirmed March 21, 1937 at Zion Lutheran Church, Hanover with Pastor Karl Klinger. Her confirmation verse was Psalms 86:11- “Teach me thy way, O Lord. I will walk in thy truth: Unite my heart to fear thy name.”

Louise attended Hanover School for all 12 years, graduating in 1941. She then taught at a country school for three years. During this time and later she also taught Bible School and Sunday School at Zion and Afton Trinity Church. 

Louise was united in marriage to Reuben L. Boeschling, Hanover, on December 1, 1946 at Zion Lutheran Church by Rev. Carl Goldenstien, Hanover, KS. 

Four sons were born to this union: Dennis L. and wife Wilma of Salina, KS; Larry L. and wife Patty of Forest Lake, Arizona; Gailyn A. and wife Sandy of Clay Center, KS and Rickey E. and wife Lisa of Waterville, KS and a great friend of the family Jack Doverspike of Tempe, Arizona. Eleven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. 

Louise was a waitress for 29 years and loved working in the field along side her husband. She will be remembered for her love for her family, her hard work ethic, loving the Lord, square dancing and playing cards.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband Reuben in 2012, her parents and seven brothers and sisters: Walter Allerheiligen, Frederich “Fritz” Allerheiligen, Harry Allerheiligen, Elsie Swoboda, Charles Allerheiligen, Ella Schell and Frank Allerheiligen.

Viewing will be Sunday, from Noon to 8:00 pm, at Terry-Christie Funeral Home in Waterville, with visitation between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, June 8, 2020, at Afton Trinity Lutheran Church north of Waterville with Deacon Don Dodd and Curtis Melcher officiating. Music will include “In The Garden” and “I’m But A Stranger Here” sung by Melinda and Rachel Christie. The organist is Amanda Beikman. Casket Bearers include: Jacob Boeschling, Kaleb Sandow, Joshua Sandow, Dalton Boeschling, David Boeschling, Devin Boeschling. Burial will be at Afton Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
