Jermyn J. Dunken

Jermyn J. Dunken, age 44, of Marysville, passed away at Bryan East, LGH on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.Jermyn or “JJ” as he was known, was born February 15, 1974 in the army hospital at Fort Riley, to Jerald and Bonnie (Mangold) Dunken. His dad being in the military he moved around many times growing up. While in High School at Santa Barbara, California he had an opportunity to be on the Dive Team. At one competition he placed ninth out of two hundred.His favorite things to do included going for rides with his parents, riding his four wheeler, fishing, playing his guitar and listening to music. He loved his family and his dog Penney. At an earlier age he had worked as an assistant to an electrician.Survivors include his mother, Bonnie of Marysville and three brothers; Jerrold Dunken of Wymore, Nebraska, Jarman Dunken and Javan Dunken of Marysville. He was especially close to his nephew Ethan Ray. Preceding him in death was his father, Jerald Dunken and grandparents.Private inurnment services will be held at a later date. Terry-Christie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
