Christine M. Livingston, age 80, of Greenleaf, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018, at Blue Valley Senior Living in Blue Rapids.

Christine was born August 15, 1938, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to Helge E. and Esther E. (Anderson) Pearson.

She married Kenneth L. Livingston on September 9, 1978, at Phelan, California. He passed away in 2012.

After receiving her Bachelors degree she became certified as a Psychiatric Technician. She worked for the Lanterman State Hospital and Patton State Hospital in California. After Ken and Christine retired they moved to Greenleaf where she worked for Twin Valley Developmental Services in Greenleaf.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Greenleaf and a member of the Shaw Post 235 of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She cared about animals and could get pretty feisty if she saw an animal being mistreated. Christine was a loving and devoted grandmother who especially enjoyed visits from her grandchildren.

Survivors include her five children; Mary Huddleston, Frank Lloyd, Bill Lloyd and Kenneth Livingston of Greenleaf and John E. (Kristan) Lloyd of Wildomar, California. Five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Graveside Inurnment Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 3, 2019, at the Kansas Veteran’s Cemetery, Fort Riley with Sister Mary Arie officiating.

Memorials are suggested to Shaw Post 235 of the American Legion and may be sent in care of Terry-Christie Funeral Home at PO Box 61, Waterville, Kansas 66548.
