Mindy B. Sibley

Mindy B. Sibley, age 42, of Waterville, passed away at Bryan East, Lincoln General Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Mindy was born July 26, 1976, at Colorado Springs, Colorado to Donald L. Edwards and Patti J. (Stegman) Edwards Borgart.

She graduated from Shenendehowa High School, Clifton Park, New York in 1994.

She married Leroy M. Sibley on July 30, 1997 at Fayetteville, North Carolina and renewed their vows at St. Gregory Catholic Church in 2010.

Mindy was a member of St. Monica and St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Blue Rapids.

Mindy was a stay at home mom, spending time working with her children homeschooling, sewing and taking care of the family. Mindy was a wonderful cook, she was also creative, funny and a kind soul. She enjoyed sewing and often donated her work for women in need.

Survivors include her husband Leroy, her mother Patty Bogart of Blue Rapids and three children: Megan Sibley of Marysville, Logan Sibley and Jason Sibley, both of Waterville, and a sister Jennifer (Chris) Morrell of Portland, Main.

Preceding in death was her father Donald Edwards.

A Celebration Potluck will be held at 6:00 pm, Friday, July 26, 2019. All are welcome to bring lawn chairs and remember Mindy. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm, on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at Terry-Christie Funeral Home in Waterville, with Father Jim Shaughnessy officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
