Patricia Ann Marshall, age 79, of Blue Rapids, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019, at the Frankfort Community Care Home in Frankfort.

Patricia, the daughter of Harold L. and Amanda M. (Butler) Marshall, was born in Blue Rapids on May 20, 1940.

Patty lived with her parents in Blue Rapids for much of her life. She also was a resident of Twin Valley Developmental Centers in both Beattie and Greenleaf. Her last weeks were in the care home in Frankfort.

Patty enjoyed working in the workshops at Twin Valley. She also liked to listen to her records, work on jigsaw puzzles, and play solitaire in her younger years. Every time she had the opportunity, she liked to take in all the activities involving the Marshall County Fair.

When she was younger, she liked to attend the Butler Family Reunions. Even though she had trouble keeping track of who was who, her cousins all knew Patty.

Patty was predeceased by her parents, three infant siblings, a sister Iona Jean Marshall Comer, and a brother Harold Dean Marshall.

She is survived by a sister Naomi June Marshall Osborne and a brother Leonard Dale Marshall. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and their families and many cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at Terry-Christie Funeral Home in Waterville with Mr. Rod Christie officiating. Burial is at Greenwood Cemetery, south of Blue Rapids.
